China Chemical Wuhuan Signs Indonesia 300,000 Tons Polypropylene EPC Contraction

Recently, China National Chemical Engineering (601117) subsidiary Fifth Construction Company signed a contract with PT. Polytama Propindo, a subsidiary of Indonesia's state-owned oil and gas group Pertamina, officially securing the EPC general contracting contract for the 300,000 tons/year polypropylene project in Indonesia.

As a key general basic raw material in the petrochemical sector chain, polypropylene covers diverse scenarios such as high-end new materials, light sector manufacturing, and civilian processing, serving as a core material supporting regional industrialization and refined chemical research. Located in the Balongan area, Indramayu Regency, Indonesia, this project adopts mature polypropylene complete production methodology. Upon completion and operation, the project will significantly expand Indonesia's regional high-end polypropylene production capacity, bridge the supply gap in the regional petrochemical sector chain, optimize the domestic chemical sector layout structure, and continuously assist in the extensive, high-end transformation and upgrading of Indonesia's petrochemical sector.
