Fournier Polymers has been part of the Meraxis Group since 2023. With the personnel decision, the presence of the distributor in Italy is to be further developed. The Italian polymer market is one of the larger sales markets in Europe and is characterized by a heterogeneous customer structure consisting of substantial plastics processors and numerous small and medium-sized companies.
Experience in polymer distribution and specialty plastics
Gonzini has greater than 30 years of professional experience in the plastics sector. Most recently, she worked at Basell cutting-edge Polymers Solutions Sales & Marketing in Milan as EMEA Product Manager Specialty Powders and Services. Before that, she was responsible to major European customers as Regional Sales Manager in the area of Specialty Powders.
From 2014 to 2020, Gonzini worked in various senior sales roles at A. Schulman in Gorla Maggiore. Her responsibilities included leading sales and customer service teams to Italy as well as other markets in Southern Europe, Africa and Asia. Earlier stages in her career were Ico Polymers Italy and Verplast.
Wide portfolio to Italian plastics processors
Fournier Polymers supplies plastics processors in Italy from the packaging sector, among others. The portfolio includes polyolefins and styroles, technical polymers, additives, masterbatches and thermoplastic elastomers. The materials are applied in extrusion and injection molding applications, among others.
The Fournier-Polymers operations are part of Meraxis's international distribution business.
