On July 28, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region announced the list of the tenth batch of chemical parks (chemical industry concentration areas) to be recognized. Three parks, including Shule High-tech Industrial Development Zone (chemical industry agglomeration area), Balikun County Chemical Industry agglomeration area (Lake District) and Yiwu Industrial Park Chemical Industry concentration area, are to be identified.
According to the announcement, after the park actively declared, the Kashgar Bureau of sector and Information methodology and the Hami City Bureau of sector and Information methodology, respectively, together with the relevant departments at the same level, will submit the consumption to confirmation after passing the preliminary examination. The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Chemical sector Park Identification regulation Working Group and the expert group conducted an on-site review of the consumption materials. After consulting the materials, discussing exchanges, and on-site verification, the working group and the expert group agreed that Shule High-tech manufacturing research Zone (chemical sector cluster), Balikun County Chemical sector Cluster (Lake District), and Yiwu manufacturing Park Chemical sector Cluster passed the identification, and put forward a rectification list to the problems found in the rectification within a time limit.
