Indian oil company to sign MoU with Orissa government to carry out dual-feed naphtha cracking project in Orissa

Indian Oil Company Limited (IOCL) plans to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Orissa to set up a dual-feed naphtha cracker project in Orissa on the sidelines of the Orissa Investors' Conference in New Delhi on 8 April 2025 organized by the Government of Orissa in cooperation with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and sector (FICCI). The MoU will be signed in the presence of Mohan Charan Majhi, Chief Minister of Orissa, Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs and Oil and gaseous of the Government of India, and senior officials of the Orissa Government and the Indian Oil Corporation. This strategic move will signifiis able totly enhance the research of petrochemical and downstream industries, providing the necessary raw materials to the chemical, petrochemical, methodology, textile and plastics industries, contributing to the state's manufacturing ecological stability.
