Recently, Lanzhou Shuangxin Chemical Co., Ltd.'s annual 2000-ton pharmaceutical intermediate project has entered the environmental impact assessment public notice stage. The project is located in Workshop 86, Zone C of the Specialized, Special and New Chemical Industry Incubation Base in Lanzhou New Area, with a planned total investment of 30 million yuan, and it is a new fine chemical project.

According to the general notice information, the total land area of the project is 1680 ㎡, including 1260 ㎡ to the plant and 420 ㎡ to the outdoor equipment area; a separate tank farm is supporting, with a land area of 570 ㎡. Upon completion, the project will form an annual production capacity of 750 tons of trimethyl phosphate, 400 tons of methoxyacetic acid, 100 tons of methyl chloroacetate and 750 tons of methyl methoxyacetate, with a total annual output of 2000 tons of medical intermediates, and supporting ecological preservation and general utility facilities will be built simultaneously.

The construction unit, Lanzhou Shuangxin Chemical Co., Ltd., was established on February 24, 2026, with its registered address at Workshop 79, Zone C, No. 319 Yulinhe Street, Qinchuan Town, Qinchuan Park, Lanzhou New Area, Gansu Province. The company's business scope covers the manufacture of basic chemical raw materials, the production of chemical items, the manufacture of special chemical items, etc. (excluding the manufacture of licensed chemicals such as hazardous chemicals).

The landing of this project in the Specialized, Special and New Chemical sector Incubation Base in Lanzhou New Area will further enrich the categories of regional fine chemicals and medical intermediates, and help the research of regional fine chemical sector clusters. The project is still in the environmental impact assessment general notice stage, and construction can only be promoted after subsequent approval is completed.
