1. Core Device Production and Synergistic Value of Industrial Chain

key Capacity Breakthrough from the end of August to the end of September 2025, Jilin Petrochemical completed the commissioning of two strategic units -1.2 million tons/year ethylene plant (put into operation on August 31) and 350000 tons/year phenol acetone plant (put into operation on September 28), making the total ethylene production capacity of the enterprise jump to 1.9 million tons/year, ranking among the first echelon of ethylene production in China.

industry chain synergy effect: The phenol-acetone unit adopts UOP cumene oxidation process, and the purity of the product reaches the high-end level of the industry (phenol ≥ 99.75, acetone ≥ 99.5). It can directly supply fine chemical fields such as polycarbonate and phenolic resin, and cooperate with the downstream 240000-ton/year bisphenol A unit to construct a complete "propylene & rarr; Phenol/acetone & rarr; Bisphenol A" value chain. This vertical integration layout significantly reduces raw material procurement costs and supply chain risks, and is of strategic significance in the context of the current global chemical industry chain restructuring.

Project scale reference from June 2023 to mid-April 2025, the phenol acetone project includes 2040 pile foundations, 22000 cubic meters of concrete, 6300 tons of steel structure and 536 sets of equipment, providing reference standards for construction cycle and resource input for projects of similar scale.

2. Refining and Chemical Integration Upgrade and Product Structure Optimization

"Oil reduction and increase" strategy landed under the premise of keeping the scale of crude oil processing unchanged, the project has realized the transformation from fuel type to chemical raw material type by building 2.2 million tons/year wax oil hydrocracking, 1 million tons/year diesel oil adsorption, 300000 tons/year C2 recovery and other units, and shutting down the II catalytic cracking unit. This model has become a typical case of the transformation of traditional refineries in China.

Downstream product cluster: 18 sets of chemical plants are matched to form a diversified product matrix, covering high value-added product lines such as polyolefin (400000 tons/year HDPE, 400000 tons/year EVA), engineering plastics (600000 tons/year ABS, 260000 tons/year acrylonitrile), synthetic rubber (50000 tons/year Shunding, 40000 tons/year EPDM), special chemical industry (300000 tons/year ethylene oxide, 600000 tons/year styrene), etc.

Regional market impact the project establishes Jilin Petrochemical's dominant position in the ethylene industry in Northeast China, will change the regional chemical raw material supply pattern, shorten the supply radius of North China and Northeast China markets, and have a substantial impact on the raw material procurement strategy of surrounding polymer processing enterprises.
