From a technical point of view, the HDPE plant represents the advanced level of polyolefin production technology in China. With ethylene as raw material and 1-butene as co-monomer, the plant has the ability to produce 29 different grades of single-peak, double-peak and three-peak high-density polyethylene products, and the product spectrum richness is in a leading position in the same-scale plant in Asia. The product application covers injection molding, blow molding, monofilament, pipe and film production, and can serve multiple end markets such as packaging, piping systems, daily necessities, industry and agriculture.
The core technical advantage of the device is reflected in the application of intelligent control system. Through real-time monitoring and dynamic optimization of the whole process of polymerization, centrifugal separation and drying, the product qualification rate is stable at more than 99.9, and the energy consumption per unit product reaches the industry-leading level. This level of technology means more stable product quality and a more competitive cost structure for overseas buyers.
the Guangxi petrochemical refining and chemical integration transformation and upgrading project shows the strategic layout of China's petrochemical industry to high-end development. Based on the existing 10 million tons/year crude oil processing capacity, the project will build 1.2 million tons/year ethylene and downstream units, forming a complete integrated refining and chemical industry chain.
Refining block through the optimal allocation of resources, relying on the existing 30 sets of main production units, a new 2 million-ton/year diesel adsorption dearomaization unit and a 400000-ton/year carbon 2 recovery unit (including a 100000-ton/year catalytic dry gas carbon 2 recovery unit) are built, and 2 sets of units are deactivated to realize structural adjustment. After the adjustment, although the production of gasoline and diesel oil is reduced, it provides a large number of high-quality raw materials for downstream chemical plants, reflecting the strategic transformation from traditional oil refining to modern petrochemical.
Chemical block14 sets of new chemical main units are built, with the scale ranking first among similar projects in the world: with 1.2 million tons/year ethylene unit as the core, 550000 tons/year pyrolysis gasoline hydrogenation/styrene extraction combined unit, 180000 tons/year butadiene extraction unit, 10/60000 tons/year MTBE/butene-1 unit, 350000 tons/year aromatics extraction unit and other infrastructure facilities, and 400000 tons/year FDPE device, 300000 tons/year HDPE device, 300000 tons/year tubular EVA device, 100000 tons/year kettle type H-EVA device, 400000 tons/year PP device, 50000 tons/year hexene -1 device, 27/600000 tons/year PO/SM device, 300000 tons/year PS device and 12/80000 tons/year SSBR/SBS device.
From the perspective of the international supply chain, the 300000 tons/year capacity of the HDPE plant will significantly change the supply pattern of polyolefins in the Asia-Pacific region and provide users in the region with a nearby and stable source of products. After the project is fully completed, Guangxi Petrochemical will become an important high-end petrochemical product supply base in South China, which has important supply chain strategic value for international traders and downstream users.
