On July 10, the price dropped to 16,250 RMB/ton—the month's low—and remained at that level until July 19. It rose to 16,500 RMB/ton on July 22 (an increase of 1.23%) and remained flat to the rest of the month. The total monthly increase was 200 RMB/ton (1.23%), the smallest gain among the three types of filament yarn. As FDY is primarily applied to high-end fabrics with greater stable downstream demand, its price evaporative environment was the lowest.
